Falling Walls Space
Daniel Libeskind and Tomás Saraceno moderated by Lukas Feireiss
Falling Walls Space is the new platform for critical discourse about space and society beyond disciplinary boundaries. Organised by the Falling Walls Foundation in collaboration with the multidisciplinary creative platform MADE, Falling Walls Space featured in its first edition on 8 November 2012, the internationally renowned architect Daniel Libeskind and groundbreaking artist Tomás Saraceno, both also speaking at the Falling Walls Conference 2012. Moderated by Berlin-based curator Lukas Feireiss, the cross-generational and interdisciplinary discussion investigates the interface of art, architecture, design, literature and science. It aims to seek out common areas between differing creative spatial practices and highlight the multitude of ways to approach seemingly familiar problems in radically new ways, and thereby break original and untouched grounds.

In Collaboration with
MADE
MADE is a creative platform for artists from various fields, located in the heart of Berlin. It can be a gallery, a workspace, a studio, a stage, a laboratory, or a performance space – but most of all, it is a venue for interdisciplinary projects that invites artists to step out of their artistic routines. The goal of MADE is to enable a new kind of creative work by bringing together different artistic fields and offering a workspace and an inspiring biotope that allows new things to happen. MADE was founded by German contemporary artist tadiROCK, her partner Nico Zeh and their team in early 2010, supported by ABSOLUT Vodka, a visionary brand that fosters creative collaborations for over 30 years.
