Oriana Trejo Alvarez

Oriana Trejo Alvarez is a Mexican astronomer and science communicator with over ten years of experience. She founded “Oriastro” to promote astronomy and scientific careers across society. Oriana is a mentor in the “Women in STEAM” program and Head of the Directorate for Communicating Knowledge at the President’s Office of the Metropolitan Autonomous University (UAM) in Mexico City. She strengthens UAM’s knowledge dissemination to federal authorities, the productive sector, and the public.
