Andreas Schmitt

Prof. Dr. Andreas Schmitt has been the Medical Director of Biogen Germany since 1 April 2017. Andreas worked as a physician and scientist in the field of neurology in Düsseldorf, Munich and Aachen after completing his medical studies in Florence and Düsseldorf. As Professor of Neurology, he still teaches at the Medical Faculty of the University of Aachen. Prior to joining Biogen, Andreas was Cluster Medical Director for the DACH region at Teva and held various senior positions at Janssen-Cilag, Wyeth and Chiesi.
