Matej Badin

Matej has just begun his 3nd year of PhD at SISSA, Trieste, Italy & Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. In his doctorate, he focuses in the development and application of simulation-based methods to the study of the 1st order phase transition between two solid phases. Matej obtained a bachelor’s degree in Physics in 2017 and a master’s degree in Theoretical Physics from Comenius University in Bratislava in 2019. During his undergraduate studies he helped in two STEP-oriented NGOs aimed to high-school students. #science #research #physics #simulation
