Tatjana Geukens

I am a medical doctor and breast cancer researcher from Belgium. Together with my young team, I focus on high-impact research tracks in the field. For example, with obesity becoming more and more prevalent and influencing the dynamics of breast cancer, we are investigating how we can ensure every woman of every body composition is treated with the highest chances of success. In our other ambitious project which I will present at the Falling Walls Lab, we unravel the biology of metastatic breast cancer together with our patients, through a unique hypothesis-driven tissue donation program.
