Debora Diniz

As an anthropologist by training, I believe ethnographic storytelling is a key strategy in the use of social science research for promoting social change. Listening to women and girls and telling their stories has guided my efforts as a public intellectual. I have published academic books, papers and opinion pieces and produced documentary films on issues including sexual and reproductive health and rights, public health emergencies, gender-based violence, disability and mental health. I also work on seeking reparations to rights violations strategic litigation cases.
