Felix Jakob

Felix Jakob studied Bioengineering at the Applied University of Aachen. After a stay abroad in Scotland, he joined Henkel (diploma thesis). Subsequently, Felix did his PhD in Protease Engineering for laundry detergents at the Chair of Biotechnology, RWTH Aachen University. In 2013, he joined the DWI – Leibniz Institute for Interactive Materials, where he started to work on anchor peptides. Since 2018, Felix Jakob has been coordinating the GreenRelease project with the aim to reduce pesticide usage. In 2018, he was awarded the Innovation Award of the BioRegions (Germany) and, in 2019, won the BioSecurity Business plan competition.
