Miriam Wandres

PhD Student in the Research Lab of Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Rajewsky, Systems Biology of Gene Regulatory Elements Miriam Wandres is doing her doctorate in the laboratory of Nikolaus Rajewsky at the MDC-Berlin. She is currently working with brain organoids: miniature artificial brain-like structures which grow in a petri dish. The aim of her doctoral thesis is to develop therapeutic options for diseases such as Alzheimer's and glioblastoma.
