Karla Rubio

Postdoctoral Researcher Lung Cancer Epigenetics Dr. Karla Rubio is a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Guillermo Barreto’s group at the Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research, in collaboration with the Gly-CRRET unit at the UPEC University in France. Her research includes in vitro, in vivo and ex vivo translational models oriented to link RNA-epigenetic mechanisms in pulmonary fibrosis and lung cancer, as investigator of the German clinical trial EMO-Lung for non-invasive lung cancer early diagnosis. Her scientific contributions have been recently awarded by the most important scientific and medical German societies.
