Katharina Scheiter

Katharina Scheiter is professor in Digital Education at the University of Potsdam since May 2022. She investigates how educational technology can best support students' achievement and how teachers can be aided in integrating technology into their classrooms with a recent focus on adaptive (AI-based) educational technologies. Moreover, she promotes the translation of scientific knowledge into educational practice. In 2023, she assumed leadership of a large consortium of universities and research institutions funded by the Federal Ministry of Education with a focus on advancing teacher professional development in the digital age (Kompetenzverbund lernen:digital).
