Fabrice Cotton

Fabrice Cotton is a seismologist whose research has covered a wide variety of topics such as seismic hazard analysis, ground-shaking evaluation and earthquake source studies. He has co-authored about 150 publications and has been involved in international projects related to seismic building codes or seismic hazard assessments of critical facilities. He is a Professor at the University of Potsdam, spoke person of the topic Geohazards of the Helmholtz Association and head of the seismic hazard and risk dynamics section of the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ).
